First day of the Ranch Rodeo                        

 A Ranch Rodeo is where ten teams compete in five events for top honors . These cowboys work on cattle ranches and the skills they use at the rodeo are the same skills they use on their ranches. (Except the wild cow milking) They are made up of teams of usually 5 members, all of which bring their own horses and gear. The winner of the Ranch Rodeo's around the State compete at the National Finals in Amarillo, Texas in November. The Knights of Columbus sponsors the Young County Fall Gathering Ranch Rodeo each year the last weekend in September. Ya'll come see us!!!
